“The Other One”

This mural was painted live during the Rhythm & Brews Music festival in Newport, KY. The headliners for the festival that year were a Grateful Dead Coverband, Hyryder. With that knowledge, I decided to create a visual interpretation from one of the Dead’s songs, The Other One. There are many references to the lyrics of that song including, Spanish lady comes to me, she lays on me this rose, rainbow spirals and explodes, smoking crater of my mind I like to blow away, cowboy Neil, and many others.
