“Cincinnati Machine”

The Goal of the client was to represent not only the history of Cincinnati baseball, but also the City itself, in an abstracted modern wall. The design was painted on 4 MDF boards, filled with such references as Great American Ballpark, Crosley Field, Riverfront Stadium, 700 WLW, the Roebling bridge, smoke stacks, Carew Tower, and Union Terminal. The many hats were chosen to represent every era of Reds baseball. The limbs of the different players are used along side the many different arrows, helping to give the entire composition movement and unity. This Mural is located in David Bell’s Office, Great American Ballpark, 100 Joe Nuxhall Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202
