“Break Thru”

Painted live for the 2018 Resonance Music festival in Thornville, OH over the course of 3 days. Every time I paint at a music festival I always first think of concert posters, specifically the 1960’s. This is design is meant to grab the attention of the viewer, and help to enhance the experience of live music. It has movement and energy throughout the composition, and with the electric color palette, this painting becomes a visual interpretation of the concert experience.
